Greetings From the Mayor

Welcome to the City of Weldon Spring Web Site!
As Mayor, I’d like to welcome you to our City.
Weldon Spring is seeing its share of housing & commercial growth. According to City estimates, Weldon Spring has a population of approximately 6,000 residents and 210 commercial and home-based businesses. Residents can easily commute to any of the surrounding areas as we sit at the crossroads of both Hwy 94 and Hwy 40.
We are the 6th largest city in St Charles County as of the 2000 census and are in the Francis Howell School District. And easily accessible to both St Charles Community College and Lindenwood University.
Our City has a glorious history. Here is another location in St. Charles County where the historic past, nature and the present are so closely intermingled that they continue to exist together.
I invite you to come experience the unique diversity of opportunity, culture, history and future that only Weldon Spring can offer.
We provide a quarterly newsletter, and we hope you will read it and offer input. Any special events or news of importance to our residents will be provided through both the newsletter and this web site.
If you are new to our City, feel free to visit or call our City Hall for a recent copy of our Newsletter, along with a listing of important telephone numbers we've put together for your convenience, and a Voter’s Registration Card to update your new address.
Telephone numbers of your Aldermen (along with mine) will always be listed on the back page of your newsletter. You will also find these numbers listed on this site under "Government/Board & Commissions" and then under "Board of Aldermen".
We hope you enjoy living/visiting with us in Weldon Spring where we work as hard holding onto the past as we do getting away from it. And if I can ever be of service to you, please call me. I’m sure you will find our quiet little community a place you will take pride in calling "Home".
I remain,
Respectfully,
Donald D. Licklider
