2017 Ball Field Sign-Ups

Baseball field sign-ups began (March 21, 2017) at 7 o’clock a.m. at City Hall.  We are once again doing first-come-first-serve for reservations.  Reservation fees are $12.00 per week for residents or $25.00 per week for non-residents.  You may sign up for as many weeks as your team needs.  However, any team scheduled on a holiday (i.e. Memorial Day) will schedule an extra week as the ball fields will be closed on holidays for private park reservations.  All ball field reservations will need to be paid in full at registration.

Sign-ups are for all children; boys or girls ages 12 and under. Coaches are invited to fill out the proper paperwork, which can be found in the links above, or you can come to City Hall and pick up the forms. When turning in your paperwork you will need to pay cash or by check. Proof of residency is required by providing a copy of your driver’s license and a recent utility bill.  We only have two fields so space is limited.  Ball field #1 is the large field and can accommodate players up to age 12.  Ball field #2 is a smaller field and can accommodate players up to 7 or 8 in age.  Play times are Mondays through Fridays on fields #1 and #2 and time slots will remain as follows:

                                    M – F     5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

                                    M – F     6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

If you haven't already made your reservations be sure to come in and do so right away. Space is limited and we are accepting sign-ups on a first come first serve basis.

We are now accepting Pavilion reservations for 2017

The two pavilions can be reserved from March 31st through October 31st.   Proof of residency is required by providing a copy of your driver’s license and a recent utility bill. Cost of the pavilion reservations for the Large Pavilion (the one attached to the Parks Building) is $50 for residents or $100 for non-residents; for the Small Pavilion (located near the lake) is $25 for residents or $50 for non-residents.  Each pavilion has four picnic tables plus electricity for your convenience.  The small pavilion by the lake has two small grills while the large attached pavilion has one large grill.  There is public access to restrooms and a drinking fountain off the side of the Parks Building.

You can access the reservation forms on the links above or stop by City Hall. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pat Oldcroft at (636) 441-2110 ext. 100 or poldcroft@weldonspring.org.
