The City of Weldon Spring won an award recognizing its outstanding achievement in delivering services to residents. The “Leading the Way Award” comes from the ETC Institute, which conducted the City’s Community-wide Survey in the spring of 2021.
The City of Weldon Spring ranked in the top 10% of all local governments in the United States. The City scored highly in three core areas assessed by the survey: quality of services, customer service provided by employees, and the value of taxes & fees.
“We are very thankful and humbled by the community for ranking us so high and for the recognition Award from the ETC,” said Mayor Donald Licklider, “the Board of Aldermen, city staff, and I look forward to providing these top-notch services into the new year and beyond.” The City of Weldon Spring is a part of the first class of recipients for ETC Institute’s Leading the Way Award.

In addition to ranking in the top 10% overall, the City of Weldon Spring also rated in the top 10% of nearly 200 cities that participated in ETC’s survey between August 2020 and August 2021 in the following areas:

• The City as a Place to Raise Children
• The City as a Place to Live
• The City as a Place to Retire
