Governor Signs Bill on Ride-sharing Into Law
Posted on Tuesday April 25, 2017
Governor Eric Greitens signed House Bill 130, which allows ride-sharing services to operate state wide, into law on Monday, April 24th at the St. Charles County Community College.

The House Bill 130 institutes statewide regulations on transportation network companies like Uber and Lyft. Gov. Greitens has stated that the bill would help average Missourians make more money. "Our top priority is creating more jobs with higher pay for the people of Missouri" he said. These services allow people to work and earn extra cash on their own schedule.

Ride-sharing companies are now allowed to operate statewide and provide transportation and jobs for the people. The signing of the bill has issued statewide guidelines so that these companies can operate in places like St. Charles County and St. Louis as well as throughout the entire state.
